Cultures on My Street - Photo Competition
Created for the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008, this competition is open to all persons across Europe with a camera. Winners will be selected on their ability to capture intercultural dialogue on film. Awards ceremony to be held in September 2008.

The Euromedcafé 
A programme of Fondazione Mediterraneo, Euromedcafé holds two competitions in the fields of film (Another Look) and music (Other Songs) which promote intercultural dialogue. The competitions are open to authors from the European Union and from countries of the Southern river of the Mediterranean: Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey. The Euromedcafé is supported by the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures and the European Commission.


"Boundless" Cultural Diversity Award 
The award aims to improve the professional interplay and exchange of experiences of young journalists from different cultures in the Euro-Mediterranean region and the area of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). The winners of the competition participate in the Young Euro-Mediterranean Academy for Intercultural Journalism that will initiate its international six week training programme in 2008.

The Boundless Media Award and the Young Euro-Mediterranean Academy for Intercultural Journalism are a joint initiative of Westdeutscher Rundfunk (WDR), the EBU, the COPEAM, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the Anna Lindh Euro-Mediterranean Foundation for the Dialogue between Cultures (ALF).


Evens Prize for Intercultural Education
This prize is awarded by the Evens Foundation (Antwerp) to a project or organization deemed to have made an outstanding contribution to European social integration in the field of intercultural education.


North-South Prize
This prize of the Council of Europe is given to two individuals who have shown achievement in the field of human rights. The prize originated in 1995 and it is sometimes known as the Lisbon North-South Prize.


The Mondialogo School Contest
Created by Mondialogo - Intercultural Dialogue and Exchange (an initiative of UNESCO and DAIMLER), the contest has brought together more than 60,000 students from 140 countries over the past four years and has become the largest worldwide school contest in support of intercultural dialogue.
 

BMW-Group Award for Intercultural Learning
Created in 1997, this award is divided in two main categories. Prizes are given for academic work which address intercultural learning. Other prizes are given to individuals, groups and institutions which plan concrete projects demonstrating intercultural learning processes in the fields of education, culture, sports and neighbourhood relations.
